22-year-old Jet van der Steen has been making her voice heard from a young age. Growing up in a large family, Jet often retreated to her bedroom to sing. These days, she reaches a wide audience from that same bedroom by regularly posting covers and reinterpretations on TikTok (110k+ followers), Instagram, and YouTube. On July 1, 2022, she released her debut EP ‘Door Mijn Ogen’, featuring six songs, including ‘Uitzichtloos’ and ‘Onbekend’.

In 2022, Jet joined Popronde, where she became one of the most booked acts and performed at the grand finale. Making the leap from bedroom singer to full-fledged performer, she proved she’s ready for the big festival stages.

2023 was another breakthrough year. Her single ‘Dans op het Mes’ went through the roof — it was featured on the 3FM wishlist, as well as the covers of Spotify’s Made in NL and Je Moerstaal playlists. She toured with Blanks, won multiple awards, opened for the Edwin Evers Band, and played main stages at various festivals.

In 2024, Jet van der Steen joined MEAU on tour. In February, she launched her own debut headline tour titled “Alles Komt, Alles Gaat”, performing across venues in the Netherlands and Belgium.
