Katie Koss, originally from Ukraine, is a pop/jazzy singer-songwriter from the Netherlands.
For Katie, it’s all about self-reflection. With her fiery and narrative songs, she takes you along in her self-study: she marvels at het own perspective and reflects on things like the body, intimacy, self-value, and the pursuit to grow.

Selfdevelopment and -reflection is what it’s all about for Dutch-Ukrainian artist Katie Koss. Her sultry & soulful indiepop takes you on a voyage of self-discovery. In search for herself, she marvels at her perspective and reflects on topics such as liberty, female empowerment, self-determination and multiculturalism.
Her modern and narrative songs are characterized through her raspy voice, signature guitar playing and melodic bass (think of North Sea Jazz meets Lowlands) and inspired by Lianne la Havas, Arlo Parks and Leon Bridges. She’s exposing herself in order to grow, push boundaries and introduce new perspectives. For others, but especially for herself.
The Netherlands got to know Katie Koss when she sang a duet with MEAU for the national Giro555 fundraising campaign for Ukraine. Soon after, she knew how to reach people performing on Humberto’s talkshow, supporting Sabrina Starke, and traveling with Popronde as OOR-talent.
In the fall of 2022 she released her debut EP ‘i’m changing my mind’, with which she challenges others to break free from long-held beliefs. After closing the year with a unique collaboration with War Child, Katie’s kicking off 2023 with new releases and a showcase on Eurosonic Noorderslag.
